HoloKrome

Holo-Krome is a brand of high precision threaded fasteners manufactured in the USA, and are available with metric and UNC & UNF threads conforming to the relevant ISO and ASME/ANSI standards. These high tensile strength fasteners are made from alloy steel and finished with black oxide. Their class 3A threads offer greater clamping force, and the tightly controlled fillets beneath their heads increase their fatigue strength. Holo-Krome fasteners are very similar to the Unbrako brand of fasteners, and are suitable where close tolerances, safety and strength are required. Holo-Krome socket head cap screws are marked with a unique Holo-Code on the head, along with the diameter and pitch of the screw, simplifying identification and traceability for users.

Holo-Krome branded socket head cap screws, in alloy steel with a strength grade of 12.9, and finished with black oxide. Manufactured in the USA, Holo-Krome are high quality screws, similar to Unbrako, with precision 3A threads for greater clamping force. Designed for critical applications, Holo-Krome screws have a unique Holo-Code stamped in the head, along with the diameter and pitch of the screw, simplifying identification and traceability for users. Socket head cap screws are also known as an Allen screws or Allen bolts. A hex key (otherwise known as an Allen key or hex socket) is required to fit these fasteners. Conforming to ISO 4762 or DIN 912.

HoloKrome Socket Head Button Screws in Black Oxide Class 12+ High Tensile Steel

Holo-Krome branded socket button screws, in alloy steel with a strength grade of 12.9, and finished with black oxide. Manufactured in the USA, Holo-Krome are high quality screws, similar to Unbrako, with precision 3A threads for greater clamping force. Socket button head screws have a lower wider head than the socket head cap screws and tend to be used where the head of the bolt will not cause snagging. The hex drive is generally smaller than other hex driven ranges and thus the ultimate tightening torque is reduced (see data sheet). Manufactured to ISO 7380 and are fully threaded.

HoloKrome Socket Head Countersunk Screws in Black Oxide Class 12+ High Tensile Steel

Holo-Krome branded socket countersunk screws (or flat head screws), in alloy steel with a strength grade of 12.9, and a black oxide finish. Manufactured in the USA, Holo-Krome are high quality screws, similar to Unbrako, with precision 3A threads for greater clamping force. Conforming to ISO 10642/DIN 7991, these require a hex socket/allen key to fit. The countersunk head is used in conjunction with a countersunk hole or countersunk washer.

HoloKrome Socket Low Head Cap Screws in Black Oxide High Tensile Steel Class 10.9

Holo-Krome branded socket cap low screws, in alloy steel with a tensile strength of 10.9, and finished with black oxide. Manufactured in the USA, Holo-Krome are high quality screws, similar to Unbrako, with precision 3A threads for greater clamping force. The fillet between the head and the body is closely controlled for maximum fatigue strength. Similar to DIN 7984, socket cap low head screws are designed to be used in applications where the head height needs to be limited. The reduced head height and therefore more shallow socket depth, means that the preload cannot be as high as for standard socket head cap screw (see data sheet).
