Hex Bolts

Hex Bolts, Hex Screws or Hex Caps (USA). Hex bolts are the go to option across many industries worldwide and are most often used in conjunction with a nut. Hex bolts are generally fastened by a spanner or rachet and socket but we do offer some with a slot in the hex head that allow tightening with a screwdriver; these are used where access for securing is limited. Hex bolts are available in A2 stainless steel, A4, brass, nylon and zinc plated hi tensile steel. We offer fully and partially threaded variants along with Hex Flange Bolts which can be used without the need of a free spinning washer.
Material Key
A2 Stainless Steel - also known as grade 304 or 18/8. A general purpose grade of stainless steel.
A4 Stainless Steel - also known as grade 316 or 18/8/3. A higher corrosion resistant, marine grade of stainless steel.
A4-80 Stainless Steel - identical corrosion resistance to A4-70 but with a higher tensile strength equivalent to that of 8.8 high tensile steel.
Black oxide high tensile steel class 12+ - a high tensile non-stainless grade with a black oxide finish offering limited corrosion resistance
Brass - offers an attractive, corrosion resistant finish.
Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) Class 10 high tensile steel - a high strength non-stainless grade for screws and bolts, with a basic level of corrosion resistance.
Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) Class 8 high tensile steel - the general purpose non-stainless grade for screws and bolts, with a basic level of corrosion resistance.
Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) USA grade 5 high tensile steel - equivalent to UK class 8, a general purpose non-stainless grade with a basic level of corrosion resistance.
Duplex Stainless Steel 1.4462 - a type of stainless steel, which has greater corrosion resistance than A4 / 316 and a high tensile strength of minimum 700 N/mm2. Also known as 318LN.
Nylon (polyamide) - a tough lightweight plastic, tough at low temperaures, with excellent resistance to chemicals and features a favourable sliding friction behaviour.
Zinc Flake coated high tensile steel class 10 - a higher tensile non-stainless grade for screws and bolts. Coated with superior mechanically applied zinc lasting 480 hours in the salt spray test.
