Nickel Plated Brass Slot Machine Screws

This is the oldest form of drive for a screw and is still the most commonly used manual drive. Tightened with a flat blade screwdriver or bit, care needs to be taken so that the screwdriver doesn't slip out of the slot.

A1
A1 Stainless Steel- Also known as grade 303. A general purpose grade of stainless steel but with better fabrication/machining properties than grade 304.
A2
A2 Stainless Steel - Also known as grade 304 or 18/8. A general purpose grade of stainless steel.
A4
A4 Stainless Steel - Also known as grade 316 or 18/8/3. A higher corrosion resistant, marine grade of stainless steel.
Brass
Brass - Offers an attractive, corrosion resistant finish.


Nickel

Nickel Plated Brass - Nickel finished brass offering a warm toned white metal aesthetic.
BZP
Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) Steel - Non-stainless standard steel grade offering a basic level of corrosion resistance.
Nylon
Plastic (Nylon Polyamide) - A tough lightweight plastic, strong at low temperatures, with excellent resistance to chemicals, and features favourable sliding friction behaviour.
