M6 x 50mm Unbrako Grub Screw Knurled Cup Point in Black Oxide Steel 45H - ISO 4029 (DIN 916)

Unbrako branded knurled cup point grub screws are designed for use with softer materials or for inserting into an existing threaded aperture. The cup point provides more torque and gripping force than other types, and the knurling helps to reduce loosening from vibration. The knurls are angled ridges on the edge of the cup that when tightened have a ratchet-locking action, as they cut into the mating surface. Knurled cup point grub screws are not recommended for reuse once fitted, as the cutting edges of the knurls are deflected when tightened and their effectiveness for future reuse reduced. Please note that due to the nature of the surface finish on Unbrako products, some surface corrosion may be evident. This does not affect the performance of the product.
