M8 x 28mm Rivet Nut Countersunk Knurled Type (Close) in A2 Stainless

Blind rivet nuts are used for attaching a nut onto sheet metals and thin metal gauge parts, such as panels, tubes and castings. The riveted nut will then allow attachment and detachment of components easily using the correct sized bolt. The larger sized rivet nuts can clamp together multiple layers of materials. Blind rivet nuts are also known as riv nuts, blind nuts and nutserts. This type here is the same as the countersunk round open rivet nut, but the end is closed off so that it can be used when a moisture or pressure-tight seal is required. The knurling helps further to grip the nut onto the connecting materials and prevent the nut from spinning.
