M6 Schnorr Type VS Lock Washer in Zinc Plated Steel

Stronger, thicker type of original Schnorr safety washers, for use with high tensile bolts of 8.8 and above. Schnorr safety washers are designed to prevent the joint loosening with vibration. Schnorr washers include a trapezoidal cross-section and serrations on both sides. When compressed, the serrations resemble helical gears, gripping the surface to the bolt and nut. The outer diameter of the washer is matched to head diameters of pan head and socket head cap screws.
