M6 Schnorr Type S Lock Washer in A2 Stainless Steel

Original Schnorr safety washers are a type of locking washer, featuring a trapezoidal cross-section and serrations on both sides. These items are anti-vibration washers that lock the bolt and nut against the surface. The serrations are arranged like helical gears, which compress as the bolt is tightened, gripping and exerting pressure to hold the joint together. The outer diameter of the washer is matched to head diameters of pan head and socket head cap screws. The S type Schnorr washer is designed for screws of sizes M1.6 to M36 and of property classes up to 8.8 tensile strength. Use the stronger VS type Schnorr washers for 8.8 and 10.9 classes.
