No.6 Pin Torx Security Countersunk Self Tapping Screws (AB) in A2 Stainless Steel

Security self tapping screws with a Pin Torx drive. Also known as 6 lobe pin screws, resistorx, tamper proof torx and star pins. Normally used with sheet metal and plastics, this variant has a countersunk head, with a pin within the torx recess. As the name suggests, this type of screw forms its own thread as it is installed into a pre-drilled hole. Torx are excellent in applications that require high levels of torque when the fastener is tightened. The pin stops a regular torx driver or straight screwdriver from being used. These torx pin countersunks tend to be desirable where the head is exposed, as they are aesthetically pleasing.
